this is what we had to avoid in order to get to our dinnerDinner was never easy, have to work hard for it. In our case, we had to maneuver the road and finding the right road to take before we can have our dinner. We have to avoid the on going procession which happen to go through the route that we are taking. Fortunately, with my good sense of direction and quick thinking, we managed to use the back lane and reach our destination. The reward for our effort was a very nice dinner at Verinice. It is indeed very nice and the price is cheap. A highly recommended place for dinner without burning a hole in your pocket. The place is tucked away next to the Shell Station at HSBC Kuching. Its the road next to the station leading towards Pertanak Market. Easy to find since it is facing the road and with lots of hungry people.

baby kailan with salted fish, very fresh and nice
claypot japanese tofu with roast meat and salted fish, the gravy goes perfectly with plain rice and the tofu are just yummy
stout pork ribs, simply delicious and lip smacking good
butter prawn, this is my all time favorite. they cook it in a claypot with butter gravy that you can dip with the buns that they give. could finished the whole thing myself and still asking for more
our after dinner coffee was at Bing! a perfect ending for a perfect dinner.....
